Elektrificatie van bouwmaterieel is een belangrijke ontwikkeling om de bouw schoner, gezonder en stiller te maken. Netbeheerders spannen zich in om de bijpassende stroomvoorziening veilig en maatschappelijk verantwoord te faciliteren. Hoe gaan we al dat bouwmaterieel van stroom voorzien? Recent ondertekenden 45 partijen, waaronder ElaadNL en NBNL, het convenant SEB om deze transitie gezamenlijk mogelijk te maken.

Terugkijken ElaadNL: Webtalk #56 Tussen wal en schip: de opkomst van walstroom
Zeeschepen en binnenvaartschepen die in een haven liggen, gebruiken daar ook energie. Het in de haven laten draaien van dieselgeneratoren is echter milieubelastend. Daarom wordt er ook hier gewerkt aan elektrificatie. Steeds meer havens bieden walstroom aan zodat schepen in de haven gebruik kunnen maken van een aansluiting op het elektriciteitsnet. Hoe gaan we al die schepen van stroom voorzien? Met presentaties van Jeroen Janssen (ElaadNL) en Ryan Cornelisse (Port of Rotterdam). Aansluitend sluiten ook Coen Peelen (Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat) en Anne-Joël Leerling (Stedin) aan voor het expertpanel.

The KNVTS takes soundings
The KNVTS was originally founded as “Vereeniging van werktuigkundigen ter Koopvaardij” in May, 1898. In the “Zuid-Hollandsche Koffiehuis”. The society will exist 125 years this year, every reason to celebrate. That is why KNVTS will host a symposium (maximum 200 participants) for its members and other friends from the maritime sector, Hal4 aan de Maas in Rotterdam on May 11, 2023, entitled: “The KNVTS takes soundings”. Where do we stand with our ambitions on digitization and sustainability? Practical examples, demonstrations and ongoing research will be presented to determine the position of the sector with regard to innovations in the fields of sustainability and digitization.
