A lecture on the Rotterdamsebaan took place in The Hague on 23 November. The lecture was organised by the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI) and the Rotterdamse Baan project organisation. After a welcoming speech by Jothijs van Gaalen (Programme Commissioner KIVI Department of Construction and Hydraulic Engineering), Boudewijn Revis (Alderman for the Inner City, Urban Development Core Areas, Outdoor Space Municipality of The Hague) gave an introduction to the project in which he underlined the importance of the Rotterdamsebaan for The Hague and the surrounding region. Project director on behalf of The Hague municipality, Paul Janssen, then addressed the conditioning and contractual aspects of the project. The design of the Rotterdamsebaan was explained by integral design leader Peter Meijvis. With more than 100 attendees in the room, the lecture evening was very successful.
