Description

Have you ever seen blue Cerenkov light?

KIVI NIRIA's Department of Technical Physics is organising an excursion to the Reactor Institute Delft (RID) on Tuesday 13 December from 14:00 to 16:00.

The Reactor Institute Delft (RID) is part of the Faculty of Applied Physics at Delft University of Technology. It manages radiation-related facilities and houses the Radiation, Radionuclides & Reactors (R3 ) department of the same faculty. With the knowledge and expertise present at the RID, the RID has for many years made a significant contribution to fundamental and applied scientific research in various fields, both internationally and nationally.

We take a look at the reactor and hear about neutron research and radionuclide production. Due to safety requirements, there is a maximum number of participants of 20 people, so please register quickly.

Participants should be able to identify themselves with a valid ID (passport, driving licence or identity card). Participants should be present at 13:40 as check-in takes some time. When registering, please provide your nationality and the identity number of identification
