On 28 October 2025, the YKE Talent Programme was officially launched at the Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI). The programme was created to help young engineers further develop their personal and professional skills, expand their network and boost their careers.

Master classes and personal coaching
During the programme, participants work on five core competences: knowledge, skills, leadership, communication and commitment. Based on these core competences, an experienced KIVI coach guides the participants so that they can get the most out of themselves and excel as engineers.

The YKE Talent Programme is a one-year programme consisting of six contact moments, including a kick-off, coaching sessions, master classes and a concluding award ceremony. Coaching sessions and master classes are combined in one evening meeting, so that participants can jointly discuss their progress and experiences.

YKE welcomes the following talents during the YKE Talent Programme:

From the YKE Growth Programme to Chartered Engineering
The YKE Talent Programme, together with the YKE Growth Programme, is part of the Young KIVI Engineers (YKE) development programmes. These pathways are specifically designed to support young engineers in their professional growth and strengthening their personal skills.

The YKE Growth Programme is an independent pathway to which the Talent Programme seamlessly connects. This allows participants to continue their learning path and further prepare themselves for future challenges within their field.

In addition, completing the Talent Programme prepares participants for the Chartered and Incorporated Engineering pathway, an important step in their career.
