Recently, several groups within KIVI have been working hard on our statutes and regulations. For example, the working group Modernising KIVI Regulations has been working on a new version of the existing Statutes and Internal Regulations, and the Integrity Committee has elaborated the existing Integrity Committee Working Framework 'A Safe Association' into the Integrity Committee Regulations.

Statutes and Internal Regulations
A working group was set up by the KIVI Executive Board in February 2020 for the purpose of modernising the KIVI Regulations. The current Statutes and Internal Regulations have been in existence for some time and have been adapted to these modern times. The working group has done a lot of work recently to modernise and adapt the documents to the current association structure, bring them in line with recent legislation, clarify ambiguities and increase readability. There have been several rounds of feedback with the Main Board, interested members, and our association law lawyer. This eventually led to the versions that are now presented to the Members' Council.

Integrity Committee Regulations
The Integrity Committee Working Framework 'A Safe Association' was approved at the June 2021 Members' Council and some adjustments were made at the December 2021 Members' Council. The working framework is not an exhaustive regulation, but a thinking and working framework within which the Integrity Committee works and into which the actions of its members must fit. As indicated in the December 2021 Council of Members, we received several signals and questions in 2021 that there is a need in the association for further elaboration in the form of a protocol or Regulations, with the working method described in more detail. This version is an evolution and replacement of the Working Framework into regulations, which the members of the Integrity Committee have worked out together with the association lawyer. We hope that this has cleared up any content ambiguities within the association.

The Central Board would like to offer all members the opportunity to be further informed about this and is organising an information session to this end on 8 March 2022, starting at 19.00 in the KIVI building in The Hague.
There is also an opportunity to attend the meeting online (this can be indicated when registering).
The members of the working group Modernising KIVI Regulations and the Integrity Committee and the lawyer will be available for explanations and to answer questions.

The Great Hall has a maximum capacity. It is expected that this will not be exceeded. If it is, we will consider how to deal with this.
