Parya Pasha Zadeh is managing director and founder of Marmoris, an Earth observation and geospatial company based at NL Space Campus in Noordwijk. Her work applies satellite data to environmental and blue-economy questions such as water quality, coastal and marine ecosystems, and offshore activity for public agencies, research institutions and private clients across Europe and the Caribbean.
Alongside Marmoris, she leads ESA Phi-Lab Netherlands, OneSpaceHub, and Space for Talent programmes at NL Space Campus, connecting early-career talent with the Dutch space sector and providing support for commercialisation of downstream data and technology. She has also spent over a decade in teaching and international capacity development and establishing strategic partnerships in Earth observation at ITC Faculty of Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation of the University of Twente.
She is a strong advocate for making the route into space and geospatial careers visible and navigable for the next generation of engineers, particularly women and other under-represented groups.
