European Young Engineers

European Young Engineers (EYE) is an international non-profit organisation, founded in 1994. EYE encompasses more than twenty European countries and represents about 500,000 young engineers across multiple disciplines. EYE aims to make the voice of young engineers in Europe heard, and organises biannual conferences in Europe for all young engineers, lasting three to four days.

Mission EYE

  • Forming a voice: EYE forms a voice for young engineers in Europe by shaping political opinions;
  • Making the voice heard: EYE makes the voice of young engineers in Europe heard by being a stakeholder in governmental institutions;
  • Conducting conversations with the voices: EYE conducts conversations with the voices of young engineers in Europe through collaborations with the industry, political organisations, and academic organisations.

Strategy EYE

  • Network: EYE aims to provide a network by building a mutual understanding and providing skills;
  • Collaborations: EYE promotes collaborations between engineers in Europe and outside of Europe;
  • Platform: EYE realises a leading platform for young engineers in Europe.

KIVI welcomed EYE in 2019 and 2023. YKE is an active member of the members council of EYE, and, as such, YKE members have access to the European young engineering network of EYE.
