Geotechnical risks and opportunities in projects are always present. It is important for the sector to communicate the risks and opportunities clearly, proactively and regularly within a project and to the environment. On this Geonet page you will find a number of initiatives that contribute(d) to this.
GeoForum
There is much to be gained by bringing in geotechnical engineering at the early stages of a project and integrating it into the planning and design process from the beginning. GeoForum was set up to propagate this idea.
Geocommunication in projects
The Geo-Impulse Working Group 'Geocommunication in Projects' worked on communication scenarios for geotechnical projects and contributed to the development of Geonet.
