Centre for Underground Construction (CDE)
The CDE is a networking organisation for everyone concerned with underground construction. Much of the research on underground construction and underground space use is supervised from the CDE. Currently, the CDE manages more than 1,500 reports on underground construction.
CoP Slack Soil
The Community of Practice (CoP) Slack Soil is the platform where technical staff of slack soil municipalities can share knowledge of public space construction and management. Central to the CoP is the slack soil characteristic of the participating municipalities.

European Large Geotechnical Institutes Platform (ELGIP)
An international partnership of 12 major European geotechnical research organisations.
Municipal Platform Cables and Pipelines (GPKL)
GPKL represents municipal interests in the creation of laws and regulations, policy rules and technical and legal agreements relating to the underground infrastructure of cables and pipelines and the exchange of knowledge, experience and information.
International Association for Engineering Geology (IAEG)
The IEAG was founded in 1964 and affiliated to the IUGS (International Union of Geological Sciences). The IEAG has more than 5,200 members with 59 nationalities.
Ingeokring
Ingeokring is the Dutch association for technical geologists. It is the largest division within the KNGMG (Royal Dutch Geological Mining Society). In addition, Ingeokring forms the 'Netherlands National Group' of the IAEG. Ingeokring plays a role in communication between technical geologists in the Netherlands. It does so through excursions, symposiums and an annual newsletter. Publications and the newsletter can be found on the website.
ISSMGE
Founded in 1936, the ISSMGE is an active promoter of international cooperation between engineers and scientists to promote the advancement and dissemination of knowledge in the field of geotechnical engineering. Every two years, the ISSMGE holds an international conference that takes place in Europe every four years.
KIVI Geotechnics
The Royal Institute of Engineers (KIVI) is the professional association of engineers and engineering students. The Geotechnical Department is a founding partner of Geonet. This department deals with soil deformations, contamination in groundwater and numerical soil mechanics, among others.
Royal Flemish Society of Engineers (KVIV)
The Belgian counterpart of KIVI-Geotechnology, founded in 1928, is a membership association of and for bio- and civil engineers.
Netherlands Geotextile Organisation (NGO)
The Netherlands Geotextile Organisation (NGO) promotes the knowledge and application of geosynthetics in the Netherlands. The NGO holds regular seminars and courses, publishes its own magazine Geokunst, supports and initiates research, participates in standardisation and regulation, and provides teaching materials for technical education. The NGO is the Dutch branch of the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS).
Dutch Foundation Contractors Association (NVAF)
NVAF represents the interests of foundation contractors and foundation equipment owners. Its more than 60 members are engaged in developing and executing a variety of foundation techniques.
Dutch Association for Trenchless Techniques and Applications (NSTT)
The NSTT aims to encourage the development and promotion of trenchless techniques, as well as to fund and propagate their social benefits. The association provides answers to individual questions and tries to address larger issues together in the collectivity of the sector.
Netherlands Water Partnership (NWP)
The NWP supports the water sector in exports and international cooperation. Two hundred organisations - profit and non-profit, from drinking water to dykes - have joined out of the conviction that together you have more impact abroad.
NLingenieurs
The industry association of Dutch consulting and engineering firms, formerly ONRI. NLingenieurs' activities include consultation with legislation and clients, expression of opinions, providing information about the industry, developing terms of delivery, contributing to knowledge development and knowledge exchange, and mediating complaints.
SBRCURnet
SBRCURnet works with the construction and civil engineering sectors to promote new professional knowledge for both sectors. The organisation does this as an independent knowledge partner in construction. Many civil engineering reports can be found on the SBRCURnet website.
Soil Knowledge Development Foundation (SKB)
Foundation for Knowledge Development Knowledge Transfer Soil (SKB) played an important role in soil innovation from 1995 to 2015. During these years, the focus shifted from developing better and cost-effective remediation methods to sustainable development of the subsurface.
Stichting Schuimbeton Nederland (SSN)
In 1993, the leading Dutch foam concrete producers joined forces and pooled their experiences in the Stichting Schuimbeton Nederland (SSN). On the SSN website, studies, reports and information on projects carried out in foam concrete are integrally listed and available.
Stybenex
Stybenex is the association of manufacturers of EPS products (expanded polystyrene, known as Styrofoam). The trade association represents the collective interests of its members, with the main aim of promoting the optimal use of EPS as an insulation and packaging material in civil engineering.
Association of Entrepreneurs in Technical Soil Research (VOTB)
VOTB is the trade association of companies where geotechnical soil investigation is central. Above all, VOTB promotes the importance of good engineering soil testing and is committed to the common interest of its members.
Association of Hydraulic Engineers
The Association of Hydraulic Engineers is the employers' and entrepreneurs' organisation of contractors and service providers in hydraulic engineering. Its member companies are active at home and abroad in areas such as land reclamation, dredging, coastal and shore work, structural hydraulic engineering, soil remediation, area planning, sand trading and sand transport.
