About Young KIVI Engineers

Young KIVI Engineers (YKE) is the independent community for all engineers up to 36 years old in the Netherlands. We help young engineers deepen their professional knowledge, develop personal skills and expand their network. Our mission: to contribute to a new generation of excellent engineers. As part of the Royal Netherlands Society of Engineers (KIVI), we are part of a network of more than 13,000 engineers, nationally and internationally.

About the Education Committee

The Education Committee takes care of the content and implementation of the YKE Growth Programme, YKE Talent Programme, the Masterclasses, and the PREFER session for students. The Education Committee keeps the programmes up to date, creates inspiring topics and ensures proper organisation. Examples include:

• Initiating appropriate development programmes within the board of YKE;
• Monitoring the quality and progress of the education programmes;
• Arranging venues and speakers;
• Collaborating with KIVI coaches.

What are we looking for in you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic committee member with a passion for education and technology. You are someone who:

• Has experience in shaping an educational curriculum (training as a teacher in technical education is a plus)
• Shows initiative and thinks proactively about improvements;
• Is committed to valuable development programmes for future engineers.
